Há bastante tempo vemos profissionais e empresas falando sobre como é econômico, ágil e seguro hospedar dados em servidores de aluguel – ao invés de comprar uma infra-estrutura própria. É isso (e mais um pouco) que se conhece como cloud computing, computação em nuvem. Tem a ver também com Software as a Service (SaaS).
Para explicar essa abordagem tecnológica, Cezar Taurion, que trabalha como Gerente de novas tecnologias e Evangelista técnico da IBM, escreveu o livro Cloud computing – computação em nuvem: transformando o mundo da Tecnologia da Informação. Hoje, ele lança o livro em São Paulo.
O livro é publicado pela editora Brasport. O evento acontece das 19h à s 22h na Livraria da Vila – Casa do Saber (R. Dr. Mario Ferraz, 414, Itaim).
